Tamiya’s first fray into the 1/8 Gas Off Road scene can be preordered from Speedtech R/C as well as countless local hobbyshops all over the globe
Recently, this buggy made an impressive debut at the Neo race in the U.K. Team TRF (Tamiya Racing Factory) driver Ryan Lutz placed 3rd in the 801X’s virgin big race debut.

This buggy’s highly efficient drive system comes from the optimized placement of the front and rear propeller shafts. The drive line is virtually straight which makes it the most efficient drive-line in its class. The TRF801X chassis has plenty of adjustability to fine tune it for the most demanding of race tracks across the globe. TRF drivers from around the world will be piloting the new competition level Buggy throughout 2009 in an effort to further develop its potential and a new line of TRF801X option parts.
