Racers Edge have released newly redesigned aluminum 1/2 degree hubs for the Team Associated B4 2wd and B44 4wd. Why do you need these? Well for starters 2wd cars have a hard time getting enough traction on low bite tracks. Also, some of the newer lightweight setups require these to produce enough bite with lighter cars/spring rates.Previously, Racers Edge put these same hubs out with smaller B4 type bearings on the inner and outer race. Those were nice…but these newly redesigned versions come milled out to fit both the B4 and B44 easily. Also, a larger B44 type bearing is needed for the redesigned units. This is great because larger bearings usually equals less wear and tear. The outer bearing takes the most punishment during hard usage.
